I have learned recently that the quickest way to add books to your shelves it to suffer academically for at least four years and then graduate. Thanks to my friends and family, I have accumulated $250 solely in B&N gift cards. This has presented quite the issue for me…shelf space.

Now all was going well until I graduated, as I had a Kindle Unlimited subscription. For a time, I no longer had to play Tetris on my bookshelves: I didn’t need to buy any physical copies. Now, however, the gift cards simply MUST be used. How am I going to make room for my purchases, you ask? The simplest solution, I have determined, is to clear my Physical TBR completely and start fresh.

So far, I have read over half of the books taking over my “New Book” shelf. There is still a LONG way to go. Down below, I have listed all of the books remaining on my Physical TBR for both your entertainment and for personal accountability. Enjoy!!!

My Current Physical TBR (July 2026)

West With Giraffes – Lynda Rutledge

The Silent Patient – Alex Michaelides

Tell Me What You Did – Carter Wilson

Brimstone – Callie Hart

Shatter Me – Tahereh Mafi (I have the first book, not the series…yet)

Lightlark – Alex Aster (Again, I have only the first book)

Caraval – Stephanie Garber (Same case as above…I should really start buying the whole series)

A Little Life – Hanya Yanagihara (formerly DNF’d, I have little hope but I will push through)

Son Of A Witch – Gregory Maguire (loved Wicked, need to pick this series up again)

I believe the easiest way to tackle the remainder of this “issue” is to start with the stand-alones, then the trilogies, and so on.

Feel welcome to check Current Reads and/or Reviews to track my progress with me or to find your next read! Speak with you so very soon!
